Bu metotla elmas, Kimyasal Buhar Kaplama (CVD = Chemical Vapour Disposition) y\u00f6ntemiyle gaz k\u00fctlesinden \u00fcretilmektedir.<br>Elmas substrat \u00f6rne\u011fin metan gaz\u0131 (Kimyasal form\u00fcl\u00fc= CH,)gibi bir hidrokarbon gaz\u0131na maruz b\u0131rak\u0131l\u0131r.<br>Bu i\u015flem sonucunda grafit y\u00fckl\u00fc karbon ve elmas bu substrat i\u00e7erisinde depolan\u0131r. Bunun ard\u0131ndan grafit sicak hidrojen gaz\u0131n\u0131n n\u00fcfuz etmesi ile birlikte sistemden giderilir.<br>Bu prosed\u00fcr sonucunda \u00e7ok yava\u015f b\u00fcy\u00fcyen bir elmas film \u00fcretimi m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmaktad\u0131r.
